100 THIEVES - VCT Team Capsule 2024
When I was given this project, I was tasked to make a series of 3D cinematics showcasing the pistol. It was also used to tease the music video that would release a couple of days after the VCT Capsule video, which featured their content creators cosplaying some female Valorant agents. With that information, I decided to set different agents in scenes where the lighting would match the colours of the chosen map to set different tones and overall vibes.
I was also asked to make some extra cinematics of the pistol without the agents. In this case I chose to make some more close up shots to showcase the details of the model with some simple lighting and light movement. They ended up not being used in the final video.
Extra info:
- This project was fully made in Blender 4.0 and rendered with Cycles. After Effects was also used to give some finishing touches.
- The gun was textured by Kirbz3D, a very talented 3D artist.
- Lighting, compositing, environment selection and animations were a mix of Valorant's assets and modifications made by me to better fit the cinematics.
-The video editing was made by 100THIEVES internally, I was not a part of that process.
